For over 50 years, A&R Brochu Construction has been an integral part of the film industry. Founded by the Brochu family, the company has built a proven reputation in the construction of sets for film, television, theater, and advertizing. Now run by the second and third generations, it continues to combine craftsmanship, technical precision, and creativity to serve the most demanding audiovisual productions. Based in Quebec, our company serves a national and international customers.

A&R Brochu Construction is a team of skilled craftspeople and project managers who work closely with production designers, directors, producers, art directors, and heads of departments to bring immersive visual worlds to life. Our specialty: creating custom-made, safe, and high-quality sets that meet strict deadlines and industry standards.

Our services go far beyond the film industry. Thanks to our expertise in commercial design, industrial design, and prototyping, we also work with clients in the transportation, aerospace, healthcare, architecture, and consumer goods industries.

We bring together a full range of services in manufacturing, machining, welding and assembly, and project management under one roof, in addition to benefiting from a huge workshop and storage space. Our history

1970

André Brochu began his career as a craftsman and carpenter in the film industry.

1976

As a project manager, Réjean Brochu joined the team, which already included 5 employees.

1985

Creation of Entreprises A&R Brochu Const. inc.

1987

Michel Brochu joins the family business as a project manager.

1988

The company moves into a workshop and warehouse in Saint-Hubert.

1996

Alain Brochu joins the company as new project manager.

1997

The company secured its first contract for a major American film production. Johanne Brochu joins the team to handle administrative management.

2004

Acquisition of a first CNC.

2008

Construction of the head office and workshop in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

2016

The complexity of the projects entrusted to the company requires the acquisition of a 5-axis CNC machine.

2017

The company wins its first contract for a major American series.
